Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

        With the help of God, in January 2019, monastic life has begun in the monastery which moved from New York state to Allegan, MI and is dedicated to the Protection of the Mother of God and to Saint John Jacob from Neamt (1913-1960).

       When the Monastery bought the Allegan property from Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral, there were not sufficient funds to make the whole payment and the Monastery still has a debt of approximately $70.000 to the Cathedral.

       With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae, we invite and entreat you to participate in the supporting of this holy house of prayer so that all our Romanian brothers and sisters living far from their native country may rediscover their spiritual roots in the atmosphere of a monastery much like the ones in their homeland. We also hope that our brethren from other nations and faiths may discover the joyous life in Christ as it is lived in the communities of love and brotherhood of the monasteries.

         Helping a monastery is a rare and unique opportunity full of blessings! When you support the founding of a holy monastery for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ it is a blessing for the salvation of your soul. Your family members and friends as well as your departed loved ones will benefit from the ceaseless prayers of the sisters of the monastery. Furthermore, your children and future generations will be grateful for this holy place built with your sacrifice, a place where people can draw closer to our Heavenly Father and can deepen their understanding of the purpose of life in an atmosphere permeated with the spiritual fragrance of prayer, meditation, study and work in the midst of nature.
